A friend of mine once described our house as happy chaos. I loved that and have thought of our lives that way ever since--today I am adding our farm to that Happy Chaos.

Prayers Needed
I just received word that my friends' husband was wounded in Afghanistan. He is doing well--He was shot in the arm. I know nothing of the other soldiers on the mission. Please pray for him, his wife, and his kids, as well as all our troops.
Oh honey, praying so hard. I hoped this was over for now, that enough of the soldiers were on their way home that we wouldn't have to keep praying for safety, but instead start focusing on joyful reintegration...
I am an Army wife, SAHM of 4. Our chaos is changing as the husband is in the process of retiring from the Army. We have started a farm to make ourselves self sustaining. We would love to solely feed our family from food we have grown or raised. I will be documenting that transition here. My kids are in Soccer, Wrestling, Taekwondo, Fastpitch Softball, Swimming, Cub Scouts, and Choir--depending on the kid and the season. I'm also recovering from a couple of injuries and getting back to fitness. I continue taking care of my husband, 4 kids, and home. I wouldn't have our lives any other way...happy chaos!

Praying.
Me too. We have so many who have returned and everyone is supposed to be back within about 3-4 weeks. I'm really praying that this is the last for us.
