What I really want to tell everyone about is our new home plans. We have been looking and looking for the "right" place for us to be. We really want a place that we can have our farm and our lake and our home all in one place. That is SO SO hard to find. As we were looking for a place we found many that were very close to what we wanted, but not that perfect place. So, we started looking for empty property to build on. AND we found it!!!
In about 2 weeks we will be closing on 38 acres of wooded land on a lake. It is a shorter drive into my school. The kids will change districts next year and will come to school with me :) We will be building our dream house and will be able to set up our farm exactly as we wish. We are SUPER excited!!!
We have been spending every spare moment pouring over floor plans and trying to decide what the right house to build is. We are getting close to narrowing it down to exactly what we want--wow is it tough. I will keep you posted when we make decisions.
Oh and if anyone has ever built before and has words of advice, I'd LOVE to hear them.
