And now I need a bit of a break. Let's see I got the big ones off to school, then it was time the little ones got up so we had breakfast. I got some laundry started and hung out on the line--call me crazy, but I started hanging laundry over here- in Italy everyone does even more so than Germany! and I love the way it all smells and stuff. Then I got another load into the dryer (nope don't hang everything) I got my bedroom all straightened up and linens changed (fun) Dillan went down for a nap and Meghan and I did some preschool stuff--numbers and stories. Meghan and I had lunch--Dillan's still sleeping--and then she and I dusted and swept my room. I did a thorough dusting which it needed soooo bad--you would think I would have more time to do that stuff being home all day and now I'm taking a break and doing this while Meghan is watching Robin Hood for her rest time--boy is that enough boring details about my day??
So Shane gave me this paper last night to fill out for Emergency Notification and Casualty Assistance for when he deploys. I keep looking at it and I am having the hardest time actually doing it. I know he needs it before he deploys and I know we have to do it just in case, but just the thought of it turns my stomach. I like living in denial much better--he isn't really going right??
I'm trying to work out a new schedule in my life so I can get everything done that needs done--there is something to be said for the way women used to schedule their days Laundry-mon Shopping -tues Baking-etc. It's just so hard to find what is going to work for us. It's tough when we never know if Shane will be here or not and then with kids' activities and everything else we do during a day finding time to order out the chores is tough. It's a work in progress... I did write out some stuff last night and I'm trying to keep to it this week and actually keeping notes about what is working and what isn't--maybe we will get it right this time. Oh and now that Meghan isn't attending Asilo (Italian preschool) anymore I have bought a curriculum to start homeschooling her too. I needed one more thing to do so anyway I will keep you all posted on whether I can actually get it all together
Oh and I'm not going to put pictures on here every day but I have to share this one. While I was cleaning upstairs, Meghan decided she wanted to be a tiger....

Well I hear my dryer beeping at me so I guess it's back to work.
